The Evolution3 SmartFold is a cutting tool designed to meet the demands of busy production facilities. It comes with all the superior features of the Evolution3 range, including an integral cutting strip for textiles and fragile materials. The SmartFold can be quickly folded down to clear bench space and then returned in seconds to be immediately ready for use.
The SmartFold features Keencut's unique Lift-and-Hover technology, which allows for fast, single-handed, and accurate alignment of materials, regardless of thickness. The clamping bar is lowered until it hovers just above the material surface with zero sag, even on the longest 3.6m cutter. The sightline strip is used to see where the cut will be made, and then the clamp is fully engaged and cut, making it easy and efficient.
The SmartFold also includes an integral polymer cutting strip for use with the Evolution3 Fabric tool head. A simple push button at each end of the bar allows the cutter to be set on any of four cut lines, extending the life of the strip.
