The Keencut Material Guide is an essential tool for any Keencut bench top & SmartFold cutter. It is designed to fix independently onto a bench and precisely position your material by creating an exact square edge in front of and at 90 degrees to the cutting machine. The high-profile edge of the guide helps to guide the material as it enters the cutter, speeding up alignment and ensuring accurate cuts.
The guide is particularly useful for working with rigid and flexible materials, including off-the-roll materials that tend to curl or move. It offers extra stability for tough boards, making the cutting process more efficient.
The guide comes with an easy-to-read imperial and metric scale that you can install to align accurately to your cutter. The sliding stop that sits against the top of the material can be folded away if not needed.
The Keencut Material Guide is 924mm (36.5″) long, with a 900mm (35.5″) long squared edge made from a durable aluminum extrusion and high-quality components. It is easy to assemble and calibrate and will fit on any bench that is 18mm (3/4″) thick or above. Keencut has developed a Lift-and-Hover technology that is unique and patent-pending. This technology allows for quick and accurate alignment of all materials, regardless of thickness, with just one hand.
The clamping bar can be lowered to hover just above the material surface with zero sag, even on the full length 3.6m (144") cutter. By using the sightline strip, you can see exactly where the cut will be made, and then fully engage the clamp. It's a simple process.
Additionally, the QuikSwap heads can be quickly changed to accommodate general cutting, creasing, or fabric cutting needs. With every cut, ultra-high precision accuracy of 0.2mm (0.008") is guaranteed.
